Customization

Axol, built for your application.

When the configurator isn't enough, our engineers adapt Axol to your base, your cell, and your task.

Mobile bases and lifts

Put Axol where the work is.

We integrate Axol with your mobile base, telescoping lift, or custom platform, from the mechanical interface up, so the two work as one robot.

  • Jelly Mobile, Ox Cart, and Owl Mount available off the shelf
  • Integration with third-party mobile bases and lifts
  • Custom platforms for your cell or workspace

End effectors

The right hand for the task.

Axol's 2-finger grippers have replaceable fingertips, and the whole gripper swaps out for your own end effector. For anything more involved, we design and integrate the end effector with you.

  • Replaceable fingertips for quick changes
  • Gripper drawing and STEP model to design against
  • Order Axol without grippers to bring your own

Arm specs

Tuned to your application.

When your task needs more than the standard arm, we update its specs, such as reach and payload, to meet your requirements.

  • Reach and payload updates
  • Joint layout and offsets published to plan against

Mechanical interfaces

Fits your hardware stack.

We design custom mechanical interfaces so Axol mounts cleanly to the rest of your system, with the mounting pattern published so your team can design alongside us.

  • Custom mounting plates and adapters
  • Mounting hole drawing on the product page

Or make it your own.

Many teams adapt Axol themselves, with the open-source SDK and the drawings and models we publish.

How a project works.

  1. Tell us what you need

Email us your application, constraints, and timeline. Drawings or photos of your setup help.

  2. We scope it with you

An engineer works through the requirements with you and sends a quote. Pricing is on request.

  3. We build and test

We make the changes and test the robot as a whole before it leaves our shop in San Francisco.

  4. We stay with you

Add a service plan to keep a direct line to the engineers who built your robot.

Tell us what you're building.

Send us your requirements and an engineer will get back to you to scope it.
