Service Plans

Keep your robots running.

Every Axol and Jelly Mobile comes with a one-year warranty. A service plan adds cover for the accidents that come with real robot work, a direct line to the engineers who built it, and faster help when something breaks.

Repairs, accidents included

Robots that learn run into things. Plans cover parts and labor for collisions and other accidents, on top of the defect warranty.

A direct line to engineering

A dedicated Slack channel with the engineers who build Axol and Jelly, with response times we commit to.

Engineering time

Monthly hours with our team for integration, teleop and data pipelines, policy training, and debugging.

Back up fast

Robots on Gold go to the front of the repair queue. Parts ship overnight from our stock, and when a repair needs hands on the robot, an engineer comes to you anywhere in the US.

How repairs work.

One conversation, start to finish, with the people who built your robot.

  1. Tell us what happened

Post in your Slack channel or email us. A short video of the robot helps.

  2. We diagnose it remotely

Our engineers troubleshoot with you, and most issues are solved without shipping anything.

  3. We fix it

We ship replacement parts, or the robot comes back to us for repair. On Gold, an engineer comes to you instead. Covered repairs cost you nothing beyond the claim fee.

Questions.

When does coverage start?

On the day your robot is delivered. A plan can be added when you order, or within 30 days of delivery.

How does onboarding work?

Once your robot arrives, an engineer joins you on a video call to set it up with you and get your first teleop and data collection runs going. Silver includes one session and Gold includes two, so your team can come back once it has tried things on its own.

What counts as accidental damage?

Damage from collisions, drops, and other accidents during normal use, including the crashes that come with teleoperation and training new policies. It doesn't cover intentional misuse, unauthorized modifications, or a robot destroyed beyond repair.

How does the accident cap work?

Each covered robot has a yearly allowance for accident repairs: $2,500 on Silver and $6,000 on Gold, counting parts and labor. Silver has a $99 fee per claim; Gold has none. Defect repairs are always free and don't count toward the cap.

When does an engineer come on-site?

On Gold, when a covered repair can't be done remotely or with a part you can swap yourself. An engineer arrives within 3 business days of diagnosis, anywhere in the US, and travel is on us. On other plans, on-site visits are billed per visit.

What does preventive maintenance include?

A scheduled checkup over video: we calibrate the arm, walk you through inspecting the joints and cables, review the robot's logs for early signs of wear, and update the firmware. Silver includes one a year and Gold two. If an engineer is already visiting you, we do it in person.

What spare parts do I keep, and when do I get a loaner?

Silver comes with a set of spare fingertips. Gold comes with spare camera cables for each Axol wrist, the part that wears out most often, so you can swap one yourself in minutes, and we replace each one you use. If a robot on Gold has to come to our shop for repair, we lend you a robot while yours is away, shipped free both ways.

How fast do replacement parts arrive?

On Gold, we keep spare parts in stock in San Francisco and ship them overnight the same business day we diagnose the problem, before you send the broken part back. Silver ships parts free by ground. Jelly Mobile batteries always ship by ground because they're dangerous goods.

I have more than one robot. How does that work?

Each robot needs its own plan, and Axol with Jelly Mobile is priced as a pair. You get one Slack channel for your team, and your monthly engineering hours are pooled across your robots. Unused hours don't roll over.

What happens after 12 months?

Your plan continues month to month, and you can cancel any time.

Are plans available outside the US?

Yes, with remote service. Slack, engineering hours, and remote troubleshooting work the same everywhere, on Pacific business hours. We don't offer on-site service outside the US yet: covered repairs are done by shipping you replacement parts, which we walk you through installing, or by sending the robot to us in San Francisco. Repair shipping and import duties aren't included, and Jelly Mobile repairs are quoted separately because its battery ships as dangerous goods. Fleet customers can arrange on-site visits.

What about cameras, compute, and the Quest 3?

Third-party components like ZED cameras, Jetson computers, and the Quest 3 are covered by their manufacturers' warranties, and we'll help you with the claim.

Terms

  • Plans are priced per robot, per month, with a 12-month minimum, and continue month to month after that.
  • Coverage starts on delivery. Plans can be added at purchase or within 30 days of delivery.
  • Response times apply Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific, excluding US holidays, and cover the first response, not the time to complete a repair.
  • Accident coverage is capped per robot per plan year and excludes intentional misuse, unauthorized modifications, and total loss. Unused coverage and engineering hours don't roll over.
  • On-site service is available in the US only. It is included on Gold when a covered repair can't be done remotely, with an engineer on site within 3 business days of diagnosis, and billed per visit otherwise. Loaners are returned within 5 business days of your robot coming back. Overnight parts ship the same business day for problems diagnosed by 12 p.m. Pacific, and Jelly Mobile batteries ship by ground. Outside the US, repairs are done remotely or at our San Francisco shop, and repair shipping and import duties are the customer's. Third-party components are covered by their manufacturers' warranties.
  • The standard warranty is described in our Return Policy. Plans are subject to our Terms of Service.
