Dual-Arm Robot
Dual-Arm Robot is a system with two coordinated manipulators, enabling bimanual skills such as stabilizing an object with one arm while the other acts on it, handling large or deformable items, and performing human-style assembly. Control challenges include closed kinematic chains when both arms grasp one object, inter-arm collision avoidance, and role allocation. Bimanual teleoperation systems such as ALOHA have made dual-arm demonstration collection dramatically cheaper.
