Simulation
Isaac Lab
Isaac Lab is NVIDIA's open-source robot learning framework built on Isaac Sim, unifying the successors of Isaac Gym and the Orbit project. It provides GPU-parallelized environments, tiled multi-camera rendering, actuator and sensor models, and workflows for reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and synthetic data generation across manipulators, quadrupeds, and humanoids.
Why it matters for physical AI
A maintained, standardized training framework atop a photorealistic simulator shortens the path from task definition to deployable policy and anchors much of the current humanoid learning ecosystem.
